Speech Given by Ana Puig at a Rally in Arizona on 6-12-2010

Hello Arizona!  It is such an honor and pleasure to be here today.

On Feb 14th 1912 Arizona, the Grand Canyon State  became the 48th State of the Union, but in 2010 Arizona became the number one State of the Union in the fight against the evils of illegal immigration and the threat to all of us in America!

Thank you Arizona and thank you Gov Jan Brewer for the example in true leadership. Arizona is simply doing what the Federal Gov, in violation of its duty, refuses to do which is to implement the law and protect our borders.

So, today I am here from Pennsylvania to tell the people of AZ that the conservative grassroots movement of PA and conservative legal immigrants, like myself, throughout the US stand behind you 100% and we applaud your courage!

This administration has no interest in curbing illegal immigration or protecting the borders.

The proof was given to us a few weeks ago when Obama and the Democrat controlled Congress hosted the President of Mexico for no reason other than to provide a pulpit to attack America in general, and Arizona in particular, and to scold us for protecting our borders against the influx of illegal aliens from Mexico.

This revolting harangue was not only applauded by the Democrats, but went unopposed by Obama. It seems that it means nothing to Obama or the Democrats that the millions of people crossing our border with

Mexico illegally are either people without job alternatives in their native country or criminals or terrorists.

Unlike our President or our so called diplomats, I am not here to apologize for

America or Arizona. Quite the contrary; I am an American by CHOICE and I am so PROUD to have fought to become a legal American citizen. I am proud of America and proud of Arizona.

I was born and raised in

Brazil and came to this country in 1986 at the age of 14, to live with my uncle at West Point.  My life in America couldn’t have started in a better and more American place than the home of the “Long Gray Line”, the home of heroes and true believers in “Duty, Honor, Country”!  While at West Point, I met my future husband, a young cadet, son of Cuban immigrants, refugees of the horrors of the bloody Che Guevara/Castro communist regime.

Our family came here LEGALLY to be part of the American dream; Life, liberty, opportunity and the pursuit of happiness.   We did not come here to take “advantage” of or change the system but to be part of this great system. Through tough times, hard work and without any government hand outs, today I am proud to say that my father, having contributed his labor and taxes and love to this great country, is on the verge of retirement! So, as you can tell, my family and I, we have lived the American dream and we want to keep the dream alive for our children and grandchildren and your children and grandchildren as well!

During the presidential campaign in 2008, just like many others, I knew that I had to stop sipping my latte and screaming at the TV.  Having had the opportunity and the misfortune to live outside of America’s borders, in countries being ravaged by the evils of socialism, I knew that it was my duty to get off my couch and fight for the freedoms that the Founding Fathers put in place for us.  Those freedoms are currently being hijacked and demonized by this administration and the Democrat Congress and they are using the issue of illegal immigration to assist them in that hijacking!

It is our duty to denounce what is being permitted to be done to America by far left governments of certain countries and indeed by our own.

Let the truth be heard!

The Mexican government encourages illegal immigration.

Why?

Did you know that money sent home by the illegal Mexican workers in the US, which is money directly out of our economy, is the second largest source of revenue for the Mexican treasury???

The money sent back by the criminals linked to the trafficking of drugs is shared by many in all levels of the Mexican government.  Both sources of revenue are fundamental to sustaining the absolute incompetence and corruption of the Mexican government.

Instead of insulting our country, while being applauded by the Democrats, Felipe Calderon should have used the opportunity to pledge assistance in legal immigration, and assistance with vetting and scrutiny of immigrants, and assistance with prevention of the deportees returning to America.

He could have sought discussions on the increase of temporary work permit quotas for citizens of his country, so that they could, in orderly fashion come to the US as legal workers, receiving the treatment they deserve as human beings and committing themselves to the progress of  US communities by paying taxes as all legal workers and US citizens do.

In parallel, the elected Democrats declined to voice their respect for the laws of this land, and indeed the so called advocates for human rights, remained silent in the face of the human rights abuses associated with illegal immigration.

The reasons are clear!

The left by refusing to secure the borders, by keeping illegal immigrants as an underclass and by seeking amnesty is endeavoring to create a huge left leaning, welfare dependent Democrat voting bloc.

This is identical to the revolution that my home country suffered.  It came about through a well planned Marxist promise of a welfare program that took control of education, media communication, entertainment and religion over the course of two generations.

These days, I find myself astonished as I realize that there is a direct correlation between what is happening in the United States today and what happened in Brazil and most of the rest of Latin America:

I make no apologies. What is gradually being imposed on America today, the land of the once free, is Marxism through and through.

It is time to address the situation for what it is and not as portrayed by politicians and hypocritical human rights groups, whose only real objective is to create crisis and a welfare dependent underclass, so that a certain patrician class can be re-elected.

These so called “social justice” advocates continue to thrive on an issue that keeps them in business.  It seems neither group understands the vast difference between human rights and civil rights.

Civil rights are those reserved for CITIZENS - if you are not one, you don't have them!

Whoever enters the United States without a valid visa is breaking the law and, therefore, is subject to the consequences.

Whoever offers jobs to people without valid work visas is breaking the law and, therefore, is subject to consequences as well.

Whoever is elected or assigned to hold public office is responsible to enforce the laws of the land.  It is the duty and obligation of governmental officials to immediately enforce the law, by prosecuting all organizations and individuals employing people without proper visas, as well as, enforcing border security to effectively prevent illegal border-crossings.

No solution is possible if we do not first consider and prioritize the rights of US citizens and legal residents. We are the ones most affected by the lack of jobs, high cost of health care and primary education infrastructure - direct consequences of the presence of millions of illegal aliens who are abusing our system.

It is time to stop the hypocritical and demagogic talk.  We must resolve the issues at hand caused by the greed of false entrepreneurs and the cynicism of career politicians.

The ultimate problem we are faced with as a nation is not immigration, but a lack of morals and principles.

So, my parting thought to you is that we need to regain control so that we can let “the people” and not the government, once again govern our states and our great nation.

Remember, the government works for us; we do not work for the government and if we don’t have freedom, we do not have life!

I have left my homeland once and I refuse to let America go down without putting up a fight!

God Bless You, God Bless Arizona and God Bless America!!!!

Op-Ed by Paul Crovo

                                                                                  Brown’s Bay State Broadside

In a scene reminiscent of the sacking of the British frigate Guerriere by Boston’s own Constitution during the War of 1812, Scott Brown and his talented crew outwitted, outgunned, and in the end laid waste to the decimated hulk of the Martha Coakley campaign and the desperate national Democratic Party machine. A stunning upset and comeback by the Republican candidate has, in a heartbeat, changed the national political landscape. Brown’s upset victory along with the recent gubernatorial victories by Republican candidates in New Jersey and Virginia have put an exclamation point on the repudiation of the Barack Obama’s policies by the majority of the American people. Now after having digested the Massachusetts election results the following takeaways come to mind:
Obama’s political calculus - If anything, Barack Obama is a thinker. His preponderance to excessively deliberate the political fallout of his decisions was previously witnessed last fall as he contemplated the implications of his decision to deploy more troops to Afghanistan. Now the great thinker will be calculating the vast array of outcomes that may emanate from his response to the Massachusetts debacle. Should the election of Scott Brown and the end of the Democratic supermajority necessitate a less aggressive posture by Obama on his far left agenda? Should the importance of the Independent voter who broke 3 to 1 for Brown in Massachusetts now be addressed by the Democrats? Will the normally supine Blue Dog Democrats such as Pennsylvania’s own Patrick Murphy change their rhetoric to a more centrist position, lowering Obama’s confidence in the support from these heretofore Congressional yes men? There is no question that Plouffe, Emanuel, Axelrod and the rest of the half-brain trust in Washington are busy plotting the next chess move for the president.
Inertia of the national sentiment - Let’s call this Massachusetts election a product of national political inertia with the conservative majority of the U.S. electorate restoring its voice. Not long after the President’s inauguration, the seeds were already being planted for what would become the current conservative populist backlash. Whether he misunderstood the message of the 2008 election or whether he was just determined from the beginning to pursue his far left agenda, the President has obviously overreached here. The electorate of three different states has spoken in the last few months with the most recent Massachusetts contest clearly generating a more national level of involvement. The pushback has been clear and now resoundingly so with Brown’s decisive victory.
The cult of personality further tarnished - From the election campaign through his first year in office the so-called mainstream media has done its best to paint Barack Obama as a president worthy of the “Great” classification in the presidential polls. Yes, even before he has built a record, as was the case with the awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize. But it now appears that the era of perpetual weeks of Time Magazine covers, analogies to John Kennedy and enchanting questions from the press corps could be behind us. The overt disagreement that the majority of the American electorate have with Obama’s policies has been galvanized through the rising tide of conservative outspokenness and as played out in the three recent aforementioned elections. So while his supporters may continue to claim a high likeability factor, policy approval is faltering by the day. It now appears that those twenty million pocket-sized, Little Red Books titled “The Audacity of Hope” may no longer be going to print for mass distribution.
Back room deals/liberal health care reform rejected - What little transparency we were granted surrounding the legislative process in crafting healthcare reform was just enough for us to assess the chicanery taking place in the backrooms of Congress. It was a significant part of what fed into the mindset of Massachusetts voters as they made their choice for Senator.
Ordinary people can do extraordinary things - In Ronald White’s biographical sketch of Abraham Lincoln (A. Lincoln, Random House, 2009), the author highlights the industriousness with which the first Republican President pursued reading in his youth. White states that “Above all, what tied his (Lincoln’s) books together was the possibility that ordinary people could do extraordinary things.” Clearly the election of Scott Brown was a victory for the ordinary people of America who voted with their hearts by contributing to the Brown campaign, volunteering to man the phone banks and otherwise showing their support for the Republican candidate. What they accomplished was indeed extraordinary.

Deconstructing Babel: Advocating an Alternative Language on Climate Change

“And they said, “Come let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves lest we be scattered over the face of the whole earth.” But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built. And the Lord said, “Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them. Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.” So the Lord scattered them abroad from there over the face of the earth, and they ceased building the city.” (Genesis 11: 4-8, NKJV).
As it relates to the issue of the climate change debate, it is time that the scientific community and our popular culture stop speaking one language on this issue. The myths and faults in the work of the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) have been exposed and it is time for this country, and the world, to adopt an alternative language to deal with the science of climate change.
I recently had the pleasure of attending the Heartland Institute’s 4th International Conference on Climate Change, a forum for education on the science of climate change and related public policy. A distinguished array of scientists, policy experts and political figures presented on a wide variety of climate change related topics over the course of three days. This conference, where the speakers list constituted a virtual “Who’s Who” of earth science professionals, offered a tremendous opportunity for learning. Presentations centered around the myths and biases of the IPCC’s studies and the contrasting set of more plausible natural phenomenon that are believed to contribute, but in a much less than apocalyptic manner, to periodic trends in the warming of the earth’s atmosphere.
The keynote speaker on day two of the conference, Dr. Richard Lindzen, used the opportunity to methodically dismantle many of the alarmists’ arguments. From their bastardized scientific logic (use of data analysis to support rather than test hypotheses) to the erroneous application of a positive feedback loop between CO2 levels, upper level water vapor (the most prominent greenhouse gas) and temperatures, to the chronic misuse of climate models, the alarmists’ view was thoroughly discredited. More speakers from the scientific community addressed other shortcomings of the alarmists’ argument throughout the conference. The failure to address the importance of solar cycles and ocean currents, the poor quality of weather station data and temperature measurement methodologies and the inappropriate use of data from ice core samples, tree rings and glacier formation to deduce temperature trends were all highlighted as shortcoming of the IPCC’s studies.
While this attendee listened to more of the science-related presentations, there were also some lectures by speakers during meals that made for interesting discussion. Dr. Harrison Schmitt, university professor and last astronaut to walk on the moon, along with Virginia governor, George Allen, each spoke to the issue of public policy and warned of the grave economic and environmental consequences of trying to legislate changes in the global climate.
Last, but the seeming overriding theme of this conference, was the discussion of Climategate and its implications for the scientific community in the future study of earth sciences. As many well-respected earth science professionals would contend, the work of the IPCC has never been about the world’s climate but about government control. Thus, the goal of the IPCC, since its inception, has been to use the funded mandate of the U.N. and member governments to develop studies and “peer-reviewed” (reviewed by those with the same agenda) papers that would prove that man-made global warming was true.  But as stated by Professor Lindzen during his presentation, to declare that some finding is incontrovertible is not science, but dogma, and thus has no place in this field of study.
Now going back to our original quote from the Bible, scholars who have studied the accounts of the Tower of Babel reveal the true importance of the story. In the words of our source at essortment.com, “it’s seldom the actual deed is the problem; it’s the attitude that is troubling.” So to pull this all together, let us look at just this one quote from the Climategate file, an e-mail from Phil Jones of the University of East Anglia Climatic Research Unit (CRU) to Professor Michael Mann, Director of the Earth System Science Center at Penn State. Jones says to Mann: “I worked on this for 25 years; why should I give my work to people to prove me wrong.” And so this is the whole point. These scientists, who want everyone to speak the same language just as the Babylonians did in building the Tower of Babel, are the epitome of arrogance. They believe their word should be the only word, that they have enough information to advance legislation to change to the way nature works. Their frustration and anger over the recent events with Climategate and the failed summit at Copenhagen have only further raised their ire. And their efforts to quash dissenting points of view have only brought further discredit to their work.

Op-Ed by Paul Crovo (From before Health Care bill passed)

Dear Congressman Murphy,

I could not disagree with you any more regarding your statements on the proposed passage of the health care reform bill.  First of all I am not at all in agreement with your assessment that the bill would represent the large tax cut for the middle class that you claim.  We all know that taxes on investment income will be going up on small businesses and individuals that make more than $200,000 per year.  That will mean less incentive for investment at a time when our economy is still struggling with 9%+ rates of employment and businesses, such as Caterpillar, will be struggling with ways to finance higher health care costs.  Unfortunately, for much of middle class America, I would expect a large part of those cost increasesfor corporate America to be funded by savings in the form of job cuts.

Secondly, I am also aware of the generous assumptions that were fed to the CBO to make the numbers come out favorably in the most recently released study.  As the saying goes in the business world though, garbage in, garbage out.  Finding the $500 billion of fraud and using Medicare cuts to fund this health care reform proposal will at least be challenging if not impossible.  Shortly after the CBO report was issued, the truth regarding the future implementation of the Doc-Fix program and the long-term care entitlement properly made us all understand that the idea that the reform plan would translate into cost savings was a ruse.  Furthermore, I find the application of ten years of tax revenues to six years of health care benefit payouts in order to claim that the reform proposal would reduce health care costs to be something out of a fantasy world.  If we were all able to run our family budgets by using ten years of cash flows to fund six years of spending, that would truly be an amazing financial trick.  But unfortunately, that is not reality, and neither are the financial assumptions made in this health care bill.

Third, you also make the claim that AARP is a strong backer of the current health care reform proposal.  That may be true, but I also know that AARP speaks only for a minority of the senior citizens of this country.  I am also well aware of the mass defections of seniors from AARP as a result of this agency's support of the current bill.  Lastly on this subject, I can also tell you that I am knowledgeable of the fact that poll after poll shows that the senior citizen demographic of this country has been against the proposed health care reform legislation by a wide margin throughout this extended period of debate.

Fourth, the level of disregard for the Constitution, the treachery of your boss Ms. Pelosi in getting back-room deals done and the otherwise offensive behavior of the Democratic controlled Congress throughout this debate has been shameful, to quote Congressman Boehner of Ohio from his speech Sunday night.  You and your Democratic colleagues in Congress have written a new chapter in the history of this country, but unfortunately, it is not one of honor and courage but one of cowardice, arrogance and disloyalty to the American electorate.

Lastly, let me tell you that as a member of the Kitchen Table Patriots, my associates and I are cheered by the events of the last several days.  As our President and the Democrat-controlled Congress have moved further and further to the left to pass this bill,  all of America has been witness to the chicanery, the lack of transparency and the Machiavellian practices of our so-called leadership.  In so doing, you and your liberal colleagues have managed not only to alienate the right, but the center of the American electorate as well.  In short, you may have won this battle, but you have clearly lost the war for the hearts and minds of the American people.  Without the backing of the American people, this administration has no legitimacy and cannot long endure.  Moreover, you have ensured that our job of replacing you and many of your fellow Democratic Congressmen and Congresswomen will be that much easier in November. For that we thank you.

Regards,

Paul Crovo

Fulfilling the Promise of Transparency

One of my favorite authors and personalities of the 19th century, Mark Twain, was once quoted as saying “To a man with a hammer, everything looks like a nail.” As this relates to President Obama, one might paraphrase here by saying “To a man with a far left ideology, every problem looks like an opportunity to advance the liberal agenda.” Thus, while many have been frustrated in looking long and hard for the promised transparency of the Obama administration, from the non-existent C-Span broadcasts of the hearings on healthcare legislation to the obfuscatory language that emanates from the mouth of Press Secretary Robert Gibbs, the truth is the transparency has been there all along. Especially with regard to some recent national issues, the motivation behind his responses has actually been very transparent.
Is there a more clear example than the ongoing Gulf oil spill? As an equity analyst covering the energy sector for twenty-five years, I believe I can at least speak with some knowledge to this situation. The first thing that becomes readily apparent is the President’s attempt to exploit the disaster to try to resurrect an unpopular Cap & Trade bill, the words of which have been reshuffled and given the different moniker of Kerry-Lieberman. The disastrous impact such legislation would have on the economy of our country has been well documented. Furthermore, as many in Europe will attest, the carbon trading scheme in that area of the world has been an utter failure with vast opportunities for fraud. And should the EPA attempt its end run to regulate carbon emissions through the Supreme Court’s endangerment finding, the impact would likely be even more damaging to the economy. Finally, as I have written in the past on the charade that is the IPCC’s and the climate change alarmists’ baseless view supporting man-made global warming, the foundation for pushing the anti-carbon agenda is grounded in a bastardized and agenda-driven science.
The second troubling aspect of the President’s handling of the oil spill has to do with his arbitrary and capricious declaration of a six-month moratorium for ongoing and future deep water Gulf of Mexico drilling (that by the way was falsely reported by the administration to have been recommended by a panel of engineers). For starters, the President has sadly exposed his lack of understanding of the oil industry through some of his remarks in the wake of the accident.  Compounding matters in the Gulf, with the number of energy industry-related jobs here totaling 170,000, the second-order effects of the moratorium could be devastating. The tragedy in the Gulf is having a pernicious effect on the environment, but the president should not exacerbate the hardship for the people of the region by adding to its unemployment rolls. Third, the deepwater region in the Gulf of Mexico is the home of 50% of the country’s remaining oil reserves and represents a vast opportunity for addressing the future energy needs of our country.
The answer to addressing the spill first lies in a thorough but timely investigation, not by a group of academics and environmentalists as it now appears, but by a group of accredited professionals, at least some of which should have an understanding of the issues of energy security and petroleum engineering. Greater safety standards for deepwater wells and better plans for accident remediation on the part of the federal government and the industry are also needed. But the industry must move forward. The President’s pontificating irrationally about the need to develop alternative energy resources that represent only 2% of the world’s energy needs is nothing but fodder to appease the left. The president should stop playing politics with a situation that warrants a pragmatic, realistic and expeditious solution.
Other examples of this agenda-driven policy transparency include the president’s goals for comprehensive immigration reform (his code words for blanket amnesty, which now appears to be a quid pro quo for securing our nations borders), demonization of the health insurance and financial services industries to place them under greater government control and the exploitation of a weak U.S. economy to justify a tax and spend fiscal policy.
Ah yes, transparency. Now I get it.

Speech by Ana Puig

I am an American by CHOICE and today, I give thanks to this great country for all the undiscriminating opportunities it has given me throughout my 20-plus years here! Unlike our President, I am not here to apologize for America… Quite the contrary; I am so PROUD to have fought to become an American citizen!

I was born and raised in Brazil and came to this country in 1986 at the age of 14, to live with my uncle at West Point. Two years later, I joined my parents and brother, in California. Our family came here LEGALLY to be part of the American dream; Life, liberty, opportunity and the pursuit of happiness.   I did not come here to take “advantage” of or change the system but to be part of this great system. Through tough times, hard work and without any government hand outs, today I am proud to say that my father is on the verge of retirement! So, as you can tell, my family and I, we have lived the American dream and we want to keep the dream alive for our children and grandchildren.

During the campaign last year, just like Joe the Plumber, I decided to stop sipping my latte while screaming at the TV. I decided that as a devout American citizen, who has had the opportunity and misfortune to live outside America’s borders, that it was my duty to get off my couch and fight for the freedoms that our Founding Fathers put in place for us and which are currently being hijacked by this administration and Congress.

So, on that note, let’s talk about what we must do in order to avoid the traps laid down by the enemies of our uniquely American way of life.

Our economic health and high unemployment rate have, and will continue to be, important issues of concern to all of us. If you think the economy is in trouble now, you “ain’t seen nothing yet.” President Obama and the Democrat-controlled Congress are quickly destroying the economy of our nation with bailouts, stimulus bills, cap-and-trade, endless deficit spending and now the take over of our health care system approved by no other than Fidel Castro!!! Don’t be mistaken, the Chinese are paying close attention to what is happening in America.  They are hedging against the obvious weaknesses they see in the American economy and Dollar. If the media would do its job, this would not go unnoticed!

But let’s put the economy aside for a moment.  We need to take a step back and also understand that we are suffering a national moral identity crisis here today, identical to the revolution that my home country suffered.  It came about through a well planned Marxist program that took control of education, media communication, entertainment and religion over the course of two generations.

These days, I find myself astonished as I realize that there is a direct correlation between what is happening in the United States today and what happened in Brazil and most of the rest of Latin America:  I make no apologies. What is gradually being imposed on America today, the land of the once free, is Marxism through and through. I like to call it 21st Century Marxism, a camouflage statement for Communism since we are not fighting a bloody battle, instead, we are fighting an ideological one.

The model for implementation of 21st Century Marxism is quite simple:

·          First and foremost, the press is used to create economic instability.
·          Then, a “progressive” candidate is introduced to the masses as the “Messiah” who is going to regulate the “evil capitalist system” and fix all societal problems.
·          This candidate has a political platform with plenty of social “changes” that will fix the inequality between those who work hard and pay their taxes and those who have “nothing because of the rich” (To each according to their needs from those according to their means). Everyone will be more equal and feel better about themselves!
·          This Messiah is adored by the media and the entertainment industry who unthinkingly and blindly preach his social programs to the masses.
·          The election process itself is corrupted by voter fraud and intimidation.(Look at the work ACORN did to ensure Obama’s election!)
·          Upon taking office, social programs are immediately implemented, benefiting those who helped get him elected to the detriment of the tax paying class that bears the bills and struggles to keep its standard of living. Ex: Look at the sweet deal the UAW got with General Motors
·          What we fail to realize at this point is that the campaign is not over!!! An extremely clever and massive psychological campaign of self exposure is needed in order to demonize any and all possible political opposition. The same media machine available during the election now provides uncountable hours of prime time TV printed media space assuring the necessary exposure. Our tax dollars along with his Presidential status will allow him to criss-cross the world and the nation so that he can continue to market his cult of personality.
·          At the same time, the image of a “Messiah” is branded into the minds of our children at our schools, assuring worship from future generations.
·          The false image of a universally approved “dear leader” is created, making the opposition voices sound completely out of context.
·          A majority controlled legislative body passes necessary constitutional changes needed to increase the number of terms as well as minimize the possibility of the build-up of a strong opposition. These laws are then rubber-stamped by a judiciary loyal to the party in power.
·           The democratic way to keep the Messiah and his Marxist agenda in power is now accomplished. However, if their agenda creates a social-economic environment bad enough even to their own believers, opposition will try to democratically reverse the situation by defeating the Messiah and/or his designated successors. That is when the Marxists in power unilaterally call for the end of democracy and announce the start of a new era of government for the people.

Is this starting to sound familiar yet. It should!!!!

So, even though many Americans would not know this since political events in Latin America rarely make it in to the news here (although it is in our own backyard), we are on the same political path that 21st Century Marxists in Latin America have used to “democratically” elect Presidents such as Chavez in Venezuela, Lula in Brazil, Morales in Bolivia, Correa in Ecuador, Kirchner in Argentina, Ortega in Nicaragua and many others.

What we are witnessing in America is a duplication of what has happened in Latin America; the same tactics are being used here: infiltration of the education system, implementation of class warfare ideology, voter fraud, brainwashing through mass communication and hollow promises to the lower economic class that will never be implemented due to the real and hidden agenda of these politicians.

A few months ago in Honduras, we saw yet another example of how Marxists tried to stay in power by illegally changing the Constitution of that country. Most disturbingly, our own President aligned himself with the America hating Chavez, Castro and Ortega, all die hard Communists who were supporting another well known Communist, Manuel Zelaya. Have Obama’s true colors finally come out?

How will we combat Marxism without real leaders emerging in times like these? The answer is simple; we can’t and we won’t. Once in power, the first point on the Marxist’s agenda is to destroy any real conservative leadership they see as a credible threat. All we have to do is take a look at what the Main Stream Media has been trying to do to Sarah Palin during and since the elections. But do not be mistaken, they will not stop there. Look at the left is trying to do to discredit the tea party movement by calling us racists and much more!!

The people of South America who believe in freedom and not tyranny are fighting to remove these corrupt leaders from the power gained in sham democratic processes. In many instances, however, it is simply too late. Marxists have taken over the legislative and judiciary branches of those countries through a combination of corruption and ideological maneuvering. Citizens of those countries, just like you and me, are paying the price for believing in silver-tongued politicians who make promises they know they can never deliver on. They believed in “hope and change” and let me tell you, there has been “change” in Latin America, just not the change the people were waiting for.

Although this Marxist ideology has already infiltrated us so deeply, we must remind ourselves as Americans that we should not accept defeat.  This is why we are here today and this is why we have to continue to grow the grassroots movement. We have to unite and act. We must not just talk the talk, we have to walk the walk in order to be successful in taking our country back. We need to engage and educate people about the Constitution of our country and the proper role of government. We need to discuss the issues at hand and act upon them! This is not a call to arms; this is a call to education! It is a call to action! My fellow conservatives, I am happy to say that the grassroots movement is reacting to the minority that is “stealing” our country from us and we are taking back control of the future of our children.

Let’s reverse the mistake of November 2008 by bringing all conservatives and independents together, while reforming the GOP, to enforce grass roots conservative morals and principles of freedom from tyranny and government excess by electing those who will honor their oath to the Constitution. Folks, we need to continue to wake up the “sleeping giant” and show our fellow citizens that elections have consequences.

We have witnessed the beginning of the end of this administration in NJ, VA and now MA, a state where only 12% of the population is registered as Republicans!!!! But we must not lose focus; this is just the beginning. The grassroots movement is real and together we have what it takes to free ourselves from the tyranny of big government during the next 7 months. How do we do that? We start by reforming the GOP so that it can once again be a home to conservatism!!! We must hold the Republican Party accountable to our conservative values by paying close attention to who they run as candidates. Americans are angry and frightened and we are fed up with both parties, but forming a third party is not the answer to our problems right now as time is running out. We need to put pressure on the GOP to once again be a Party which will try to solve the things the American people fear the most: terrorism, the economy and the loss of honesty and transparency in our government. We need to send a loud and clear message emphasizing conviction over party by demanding candidates who will once again stand up and fight for small government and more freedom! And, in order for our movement to become even stronger and effective, we need to all learn the first rule of the grassroots: rallies and marches, educate the people, lobbying, getting the right candidates elected to office and fundraising.

So, my parting thought to you is that we need to regain control so that we can let “the people” and not the government, once again govern our great nation.  Remember, the government works for us; we do not work for the government and if we don’t have freedom, we do not have life!  I have left my homeland once and I refuse to let America go down without putting up a fight!

God Bless You and God Bless America!!!
